Conduit 2 is a good blend of halo and COD, but far from directly relating to both. It is not the best FPS when stacked against other consoles FPS, but that is ok. The game features more than 20 different weapons, including special-use equipment such as guns that shoot through walls and remote-controlled turrets, which also add tactical considerations to the flashy, fast-paced firefights.
Tables can be overturned to provide temporary cover, and pieces of armor can be shot away to expose vulnerable spots. Players can customize their in-game appearances and armaments before each fight. Available modes allow same-screen play for up to four, in co-op, and online battles for as many as a dozen, in variations of genre-standards such as Deathmatch and Capture the Flag. As with the first game, multiplayer is a focus.
